Army Public School's Kalpesh Krishna was also the city topper in the ICSE class X exams two years ago
Kalpesh Krishna, a student of Army Public School, has once again outscored his peers, topping the Science stream with 98.2 per cent in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class XII exams. The CBSE results of Chennai region, which includes Pune, were declared online yesterday.
Two years ago, Krishna had topped the class X ICSE exam in the city with 98.6 per cent.

Speaking from Mumbai, where he is attending an astronomy workshop at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Krishna said he is keen on pursuing engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). On Sunday, he sat for the JEE Advance exam.
"JEE preparations helped me a lot in achieving this success. Although I am certain of doing engineering, I have still not decided on any specific stream of engineering," Kalpesh said.
Several junior colleges across the city came out with flying colours, securing cent per cent results. At DAV Public School, out of 188 students, 51 scored above 90 per cent.
Bhargav Ghanekar topped the Science stream with 97.6 per cent, while Akanksha Khale topped the Commerce stream with 94 per cent.
Delhi Public School also secured 100 per cent results. Ishita Gupta topped the school in the Commerce stream with 97.8 per cent marks. Scoring 96.6 per cent, Abhiyuday Puri is the Science topper of the school.
"Yes, I was very much expecting this score," said Ishita, who wants to become a Chartered Accountant.
"I have already started studying for CA. I am looking forward to pursuing my graduation from BMCC College,"
she added.
