A group of BSA Infomedia employees overpower robbers, who had targeted their branches earlier

It takes a lot of courage to fight robbers especially when they are armed with pistols and daggers. But a group of employees from a cash collection agency didn't fear anything and successfully overpowered three robbers, who had targeted their office.
The miscreantsu00a0Tapesh Sharma, 23; Mohan Prakash alias Monu, 20, and Shankar alias Babu, 23u00a0armed with countrymade revolvers and daggers barged into the BSA Infomedia office at Inderlok recently and held the cashier at gunpoint. "Our cashier wasn't scared and overpowered them. He alarmed the entire office and others rushed in to nab the robbers," said Prashant, a collection manager.
The police were immediately informed following which the culprits were arrested.
"It takes a lot of courage to stand up to armed robbers," a senior police officer said, praising the office staff.
During investigations the robbers confessed of committing a robbery in the Saket branch of the same company on December 24. They had robbed Rs 4 lakh in cash from a collection agent. After that they left town and went underground in Uttar Pradesh, the police said.
The company, however, is unhappy with the steps taken by the police to curb crime in their office locality.
"The incident has forced us to stop our dealings in cash. We now only collect cheques at our branch," said Prashant.u00a0 The agency collects cash and cheques from various banks and customers who pay their phone bills through them.u00a0
The three culprits were also involved in many criminal cases in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. "We are investigating to catch the other gang members," said a senior police official.
