The Bengaluru police have booked two people for allegedly force-feeding a spirit-like solution to a teenage boy whose house they had visited for a New Year's party.

The teenager was visiting his grandparents in Bengaluru while his family was back at his home state of Kerala, Bangalore Mirror reported.

On the night of December 31, the boy's father, Samuel, received an SOS from him that said "Please help papa!" He alerted the security of the apartment, the guards found him lying motionless in the bathroom under running water.

He was taken to the hospital by some of Samuel's colleagues. Samuel reached Bengaluru on learning about the incident. The boy told him that he does not have clear memory of the night; however, he does remember that two of his acquaintances came to their place when his grandfather was out.

They wanted to drink and smoke up on the occasion of NYE. After the drinks got over, they asked the boy to get more liquor and food. Later, Samuel mentioned that his son was, allegedly, force-fed a spirit-like substance which smelt like a cleaner mixed with a white substance.

They kept feeding that to him until he passed out. They recorded some videos and took some photos and left early in the night.

"The doctors told me that Alvin's blood alcohol level was somewhere between 360 and 365, and one can go into a comatose state if it hits 370 mg per 100 ml of blood," Samuel said.

After Samuel learnt about the incident he approached the police and filed a complaint. The police have booked the accused Ansari and his accomplice for wrongful confinement, causing hurt by means of poison, and voluntarily causing hurt to extort among other sections from the Juvenile Justice Act.
