Amit Shah is a prominent figure in Indian politics and presently holds the position of India's Home Minister.
Shah is a dedicated member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and served as the party's National President from 2014 to 2020. Amit Shah also has a history of contributing to the nation's governance, having previously held the role of Minister of Textiles in the Government of India.
Presently, Shah represents the Gandhinagar constituency as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's Parliament.
Born on October 22, 1964, Shah pursued his studies in biochemistry and later worked in his family's business. He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) during his college years, and this marked his entry into the world of politics.
