Woman held for murdering husband

A 25-year-old woman was arrested, along with two others, for murdering her husband here over marital discord, police said.


"Jyoti and co-accused Mohd Jibrial were arrested from Shahpur area in west Delhi, while co-accused Vipin was arrested from Begusarai in Bihar," said Additional Commissioner of Police (West) V Renganathan, Thursday.

The body of Jyoti's husband Sunil Choudhary, a vegetable seller at Keshopur subzi mandi in west Delhi, was found March 5 in Paschim Vihar in west Delhi.

Joyti wanted to marry Vipin and plotted her husband's murder, police said.
