Woman gored to death by bison in Udhagamandalam

Udhagamandalam: A woman tea estate worker was gored to death by an Indian Gaur (bison) near Kallatti, some 15 km from Udhagamandalam, police said.

Annalakshmi (52) was attacked by the bison, one of a herd while she was on her way to work and was seriously injured, police said.

Hearing her screams,fellow workers rushed to the spot and took her to Government hospital here, where she was declared dead, police said.
