With Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief moving to the newly created Madha constituency and asking daughter Supriya Sule to contest from the Baramati seat, where he reigned supreme for about 25-years, it's almost evident that the father daughter duo will sweep the polls from their respective constituencies.
Hence, the people of Baramati are now busy pondering who will win by a larger vote margin. A villager from Jejuri in Baramati, said, "We believe that there's a competition going on between Saheb (Pawar) and Tai (Sule) on who wins by more votes."
Although Sule is favourite amongst the masses, she is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that she does well in the elections.
Sule is conducting public meetings in the rural areas to gain the confident of the villagers.
"I want to encourage youth from the rural areas to learn English along with their mother tongue as it helps inu00a0 getting good jobs," Sule said.
