With censor chief Pahlaj Nihalani in the news over the 'Udta Punjab' controversy, here's one 'what if' situation trending on social media where the censor's scissors ran over names of Mumbai train stations
What if Pahlaj Nihalani could censor names of Mumbai train stations...
'Udta Punjab' is set to release tomorrow. Based on all the social media gossip, Central Board of Film Certification chief Pahlaj Nihalani and his team must be hiding somewhere nursing their wounded egos.
The whole shindig about the censorship of the Anurag Kashyap produced 'Udta Punjab' and the fight for freedom by Bollywood's filmmakers is over for the time being at least.

The censorship row over the Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer has made Nihalani 'famous' with people on social media finding new and innovative ways of poking fun at him and his censor board.
Another controversy that keeps raring its ugly head regularly in India is the one about renaming locations and streets. Politicians are always looking to rename roads and stations to seek mileage.
One joke that's doing the rounds recently merges these two trends in India -- it imagines a world (actually Mumbai) where the names of train stations have been renamed (actually censored) by Nihalani.
Now, we have been able to find five stations that are doing the rounds on social media that the censor board chief would have renamed because of the hidden vulgarity or excessive violence in them. After all, Mumbaikars need to be protected from this.
What do you think? Can you suggest some more?
