Watch video: Men set Tomlinson Church on fire in Karnataka

In a case of religious intolerance, unidentified men in Karnataka's Tumkur area, on Thursday allegedly tried to set Tomlinson Church on fire.

The miscreants poured kerosene on door of the church and tried to set it on fire but the blaze did not spread beyond the door. Local police are investigating the case as of now. That the attack took place at such an early hour in the day could be due to the miscreants trying to conceal their identity in the dark of the pre-dawn.

Tumkur town, officially known as Tumakuru, is the headquarters of the Tumakuru district in southern Karnataka.
