A video of a woman and her husband thrashing a man through the streets of Patiala for allegedly harassing her went viral on social media on Friday.
The video shows the couple beating the gas agency worker, identified as Gagandeep Singh, a day after the worker harassed the woman on the phone when she had called to book a gas cylinder.
The woman claimed Gagandeep started misbehaving with her from the moment he took her call to book a cylinder.
According to the woman, Gagandeep started using obscene lanaguage and even propositioned her for sex despite being told that she was married. She claimed that Gagandeep told her that she would get the cylinder only if she slept with him.
The woman brought the worker to her nearby police station while thrashing him in full public view through the streets of Patiala and registered an FIR against him.
Gagan then confessed to his crime and apologised to the woman.
