The deceased were identified as Dipak Sorte (55) and George Ashirvadan (27), while Arogyadas Swami was injured. "The trio sustained serious injuries and rushed to a nearby hospital, but Sorte and Ashirvadan were declared dead on arrival," the official added. The bus was on its way to Dadar in Mumbai, but got broke down and hence the passengers were shifted to another bus, he said.
"The mishap occurred when the empty vehicle was being taken to a bus stand near the Pune Railway Station, after it was repaired by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) staff," the officer added.
