More than 250 to-be grooms, belonging to the Patel Community, recently took part in a cycle rally, along with their relatives.
This was their unique way of creating awareness relating to traffic congestion and pollution in Surat in Gujarat. Through the rally, to-be grooms want to promote traffic awareness and a healthy lifestyle.
According to reports, while Surat is in the list of 100 âSmart cities' chosen by the Centre, the pollution levels in the city have been rising drastically post Diwali.
