Mumbai police have arrested three persons for allegedly beating a cab driver to death in a case of road rage. The incident had taken place on Monday evening. Police identified the accused from the CCTV footage from the area, an
official said.
While Imran Shaikh (19) and Abdul Wahab (21) were arrested yesterday, Bhondu Ali (22) was arrested today, said a senior official from the Shivaji Nagar police station. They were booked under section 302 (murder) of the IPC, the official said, adding that further probe was on.
A cab driven by the victim Salim Shaikh (38) -- who worked for an app-based cab service -- brushed past the scooter on which the accused trio were riding near Bombay City Hospital in suburban Govandi on Monday evening, causing the scooter to overbalance.
