Thousands of people from colleges, universities and civil society yesterday took out a march to protest the police action at JNU and demanded immediate release of Kanhaiya Kumar.

New Delhi: Thousands of people from colleges, universities and civil society yesterday took out a march to protest the police action at JNU and demanded immediate release of Kanhaiya Kumar.

The protesters marched from Mandi House to Jantar Mantar. Alumni and faculty of JNU, DU, Jamia Milia Islamia and Ambedkar University Delhi, eminent academicians, journalists, theatre and film personalities also participated.
Min claims he got threat call
Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra yesterday claimed to have received a death threat over phone on the JNU issue. Mishra said, "He threatened me saying that âApni jubaan band rakho varna goli maar denge' (stay mum or else you will be shot)."
