Teenaged girl's body found in travel bag

A teenaged girl's body bearing injury marks was found stuffed in a travel bag near the New Delhi railway station on Friday morning, police said.

"A call was made to police around 7-8 am about an unattended bag lying near the station premises. A teenaged girl's body was found abandoned inside the travel bag," a senior police official said.

"Her hands were tied, injury marks were found on the body," the official added.

"We are yet to identify the girl. Investigations are on as we are examining CCTV footage to get information about the person who abandoned the bag," said the official.
