Ending weeks of speculation, Maharashtra Education Minister Rajendra Darda announced on Friday that the SSC results will be declared on June 17.

The results will be declared online at 1 pm on mahresult.inc.in. Students will receive the hardcopy of their marksheets within a week after the results are announced online.
"We know students have been worried about their results so we have ensured that there should be no further delay. The admissions process will begin thereafter," said Darda.

Last year, the SSC results were announced on June 7 and with no confirmation coming from the state board, students as well as parents were anxious.
Nearly 17 lakh students who appeared for the SSC examination are eagerly waiting for their results.
Colleges are worried that if the admissions are not conducted soon, they'll find it difficult to complete the portion in first semester for the new batch.
