In the wake of continuing incidents of ragging in the state, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy today asked the Vice-Chancellors of Universities to be tough while dealing with the issue.


In the wake of continuing incidents of ragging in the state, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy today asked the Vice-Chancellors of Universities to be tough while dealing with the issue.

"Don't allow ragging to take place. There was an incident in Warangal recently. It is a sorry state of affairs. Don't hesitate to sent those reponsible out of college" he said.

Reddy was addressing the vice chancellors at a conference here. Devender Kumar, a student of MCA, was found dead on the railway tracks in Warangal recently.

The student allegedly committed suicide due to continuous harassment by his collegaues.
