Hitting back at PM Modi for criticising policies of erstwhile Congress governments, Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said he is running the country by looking just in the rear view mirror, which as led to "accidents" or "mistakes like GST and demonetisation".
"This country cannot be run by looking in the rear view mirror," Gandhi said, taking a swipe at Modi at a rally for the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka. Gandhi alleged that in his one-hour long speech in Parliament this week, Modi did not speak about the burning issues pertaining to agrarian problem, unemployment, tribals and Dalits.
Intensifying his attack on the Centre over the Rafale fighter jet deal, Rahul Gandhi alleged it was the biggest issue of corruption in the country and asked PM to reply why he took the contract from HAL and gave it to a "friend".
