Pratap Ripudaman Gill's 'Samarpan' showcases this path less trodden on the eve of Holi, taking cue from the colourful Gopi-Kishan jodi.
"The theme of the exhibition is a journey towards self- discovery and surrendering yourself completely in the hands of the Almighty. It's like asking him to suck out all your negative energies and provide you with a positive approach," he explains.
This apart, the works also effectively use the theme of fun-loving sacredness to spread the message of positivity and love. They try to promote that the only person we are answerable to in the world, is "God and our own inner self," in the artist's words.
Pratap has used a variety of positive colours including Red, Green, Orange and Yellow. The pieces use oil and acrylic on canvas, apart from handmade acrylic.
