Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi found himself in the midst of another controversy when he caught napping, quite literally in Parliament, on Wednesday
Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi found himself in the midst of another controversy when he caught napping, quite literally in Parliament, on Wednesday.
In an image from a television footage that is going viral on social media, Gandhi can be seen with his eyes closed, with his forehead resting on his palm.
Is he sleeping or having a headache?
The supposed incident took place when Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was giving a speech on the Dalit controversy in Gujarat, in the Lok Sabha.
Even as the other party members were active in debate, Gandhi seemed lost and uninterested.
As the controversy gained momentum, Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury issued a clarification on the same, staunchly defending Gandhi.
