We first call for a Lemon Iced Tea. It's served soon but tastes like mildly sweetened and tangy iced water. Next, we brave the Thai Chicken Salad, a Vegetables and Cream Cheese Torrp and the heavily recommended Lamb Kafta Roll.
It must be said for the Thai Chicken Salad that the ingredients are fresh and many, the chicken well cooked and spicy, the portion quite filling. But it must also be said that 'Thai' salads don't mean mayonnaise and they definitely ought to feature lemongrass. If it was called Chicken Salad, we wouldn't wonder about these details.
The Lamb Kafta is a good recommendation, generous with meat, which has soaked up the masalas well. The Vegetables in Cream Cheese torrp is supposed to be made in the bread of your choice though the staff makes its own decision. Stuffed to bursting with veggies, the torrp is gooey with cream and cheese. It doesn't work.
But Torrp-it-up nails it with the Chocolate Walnut Brownie. The classic crisp top, gooey in-between and regular nut crunches make up for everything else.
