Chefs Roberto and Sergio whip up not only good Mexican fare, they can entertain you with song and dance too
Nachos, tacos and fujitas came to mind when I went to the Mexican food festival at Limelight, Royal Orchid. I saw a wide spread of pretty Mexican dishes arranged in neat rows at the buffet counter. The chefs from Mexico, Roberto and Sergio, even treated us to some spirited dancing and quaint songs and the mocktails were delicious, so my expectations began to soar.
The avocado dip was a perfect accompaniment for the nachos and chicken tacos, making us anticipate the main course eagerly.

Eat, Drink and Make Merry: Chef Sergio and Chef Robert |
The carrot and orange soup was good, but not exceptional. The tart orange saved the soup from becoming just another mediocre dish.
The main course looked delicious and smelt divine. The Chicken in Mole Poblanou00a0 was wholesome if not exciting.u00a0 But what was very disappointing was the mutton chops.
The Aztec Tortillas, cooked to perfection, was the clear winner. If you are visiting, pass up the Mexican rice and indulge in the tortillas instead.
For dessert, it was Platanos Borrachos tequila flambu00e9 fried bananas, which were sinfully rich.u00a0
