A meeting of NDA leaders, including chief ministers, convened by BJP leader LK Advani this evening has been cancelled as some partners expressed their inability to attend.
"The NDA meeting convened by Advani has been cancelled," a senior BJP leader said.
Chief Ministers of NDA-ruled states - Prakash Singh Badal of Punjab and Nitish Kumar of Bihar - were also expected to attend the meeting convened in the aftermath of the elections in which the opposition alliance was routed.
Representatives of JD(U), Shiv Sena, INLD, RLD, Akali Dal, AGP and TRS were expected to be present for the meeting. Some of the alliance leaders expressed their inability to attend the meeting, he said.
