Sri Rama Sene founder Pramod Muthalik, rearrested yesterday after being granted bail in the January 24 pub Mangalore pub attack case, has been hospitalised.

He was admitted to the jail ward in the district hospital after he complained of not feeling well, police said.

Earlier, speaking to PTI, he said he would not bother even if 1000 cases were filed against him as he has been fighting for the cause of Hinduism.

The Sri Ram Sene had grown in stature at the national level due to the publicity given by the media to the pub attack case, he said.

He warned the BJP that the people would teach them a lesson "if they continue to ignore Hinduism and suppress the youth fighting to retain Hindu culture."

Muthalik is to be produced at a court in Virajpet here tomorrow in connection relating to making a provocative speech at Gonikoppal in December 2003.
