Section Yellow deals with the bureaucratic reins that one has to face while securing visas in an attempt to cross boundaries. The theme is similar to Pakistani visual artist Bani Abidi's earlier works.
Her current show continues to explore notions regarding space, objects and situations that exert control over societies.
The exhibition is centred around a 12-minute video titled, The Distance From Here, and also includes photographs that take a closer look at the various elements at play at a consular office.
The work is a look at the psychological effect that the process of seeking visas has on applicants queuing up in lines.
