In the meeting with the governor for over 10 minutes, the BSP chief handed over to him a memorandum seeking the Centre's intervention, citing the 28 communal riots in the state in the past one year. She told Joshi that under such circumstances when the minorities were falling victim to lawlessness and people at large also faced a similar fate, it was imperative that the Akhilesh Yadav government be dismissed and President's Rule imposed.
