Uttar Pradesh: One person was allegedly killed after an altercation over the grazing of goats at Fatehpur in Maniyar area on Tuesday, states police. The victim has been identified as Ajay Singh (45). The victim was attacked by Kanahiya Rajbhar and Ram Kishun with a stick after one of their goats entered his fields, SP Devendra Nath said. Ajay Singh died on the spot. The SP said an FIR had been registered and attempts were on to nab the accused.
In a similar incident, a 22-year-old man was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and murdering a minor boy in northeast Delhi's Karawal Nagar area. The accused has been identified as Nanhe, a resident of Karawal Nagar, they said. According to a missing complaint filed by the victim's mother, the boy had left the house on March 11 without informing anyone, a senior police officer said. The victim's family was informed after an unidentified body of a boy was found in Karawal Nagar.
The boy's family members identified his body from his earring and clothes, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) Atul Kumar Thakur said. Prima facie, it appears that Nanhe strangulated the boy, he said. Police zeroed in on Nahne, who works in a tile factory, as a suspect as the boy used to spend time with him.

Mumbai Crime: Drunken youth bangs car into cab, kills passenger in Goregaon
A 33-year-old Andheri West resident died on Sunday night when a car driven by a 19-year-old drunken boy banged into the cab he was travelling in near Virvani bus stop, Goregaon East, on the Western Express Highway. The impact of the collision was such that the passenger, identified as Shaileshkumar Pyarelal Mishra, got badly injured and started bleeding from his mouth and nose. On being informed, the Vanrai police reached the spot and rushed him to HBT Trauma Care Municipal Hospital in Jogeshwari, but he was declared dead even before being admitted. (Read full story)

After 13 deaths, Bandra's fatal U-bridge to be walled for safety
The U-bridge that connects Bandra East to West has been claiming more than three to four lives every year since 2015.
