A major fire broke out in a chemcial godown in south Mumbai on Wednesday evening.
No casualties have been reported so far.
The fire broke out near near Hong Kong bridge in Mazgaon and eight fire engines have been rushed to the spot, an official said. Efforts to douse the fire are on, he added.
Sixteen fire engines and 10 water tankers have been pressed into service to douse the blaze, the sources said.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, they said.u00a0
