In order to provide better treatment to the injured in the Anik Panjarpol Link Road (APLR) bridge portion collapse accident, the four labourers who were admitted to Sion hospital after the accident were shifted to Jaslok hospital yesterday.

"The decision to shift them was taken by the contractor," an MMRDA official said, on condition of anonymity. "We want top provide them with better treatment.

The contractor, Simplex Infrastructure Limited, will bear the cost of the hospital bills," the source said. The condition of the other injured labourers, who have been admitted to KEM hospital, is also improving.
