A jeweller was shot dead while his elder brother had a narrow escape. This happened when the brothers resisted four unidentified men who tried to rob their shop in east Delhi on Wednesday evening.
The deceased Sunil Kumar Rastogi, 28, and his brother Anil, 32, had gone to Laxmi Nagar to buy gold jewellery for their shop.u00a0u00a0
On their way back to Shashi Garden, four men on bikes followed them. The assailants fired four rounds. While Sunil was hit on his neck, Anil's shoulder was injured. "Sunil died on the spot and Anil was rushed to a nearby hospital," said a police official.
