Good bye ArabThe festival this year will move away from the traditional showcasing of Arab-Asian films and instead concentrate on Indian cinema, ideas and themes. "Osian has a huge collection of Indian posters, lobby cards and movies, which will all form a part of the exhibition during the festival. This year, we are giving cine enthusiasts a chance to pick some of the most amazingly made world cinema," says Indu Shrikent, festival director.

Discussion boardA new stream of directors finds their way into this year's edition. You can look forward to the opening Romanian film 'Hooked', Arabic film 'Wailing Wall', Japanese film 'Aruitemo Aruitemo', French film 'Un Barrage Contre le Pacifique', and Rituparno Ghosh's 'Shob Charitra Kalponik' amongst others. The new breed of directors including Vishal Bhardwaj, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Imtiaz Ali and Rajkumar Gupta will participate in the discussion board of the festival, which will help in lending an all-new perspective to the huge diaspora of Indian films.
