Borivali's Bunty Juice Center has served 3,600 types of juices in the last 7 years; some of them named after Balaji soaps. They draft a new menu every 15 days, and dish out free taster shots to customers
Kuch Nahin, Kahin Kisi Roz and Kabhi Kabhi may have belonged to the realm of entertainment until Nandlal Milan decided that they can also quench your thirst.
Some of the 3,600 types of fresh fruit juices that Milan has served over the last few years at Bunty Juice Center in Borivali, are named after Hindi blockbusters and TV soaps.
"Whacky names get customers curious enough to try them out, even if just to figure what the big deal is," says 52 year-oldu00a0 Milan.
And if you don't know what you are getting into, ask them for a taster shot of the concoction that's caught your fancy, before you decide to down a whole glass.
cutlery: The glasses they use are as fascinating as the names, ranging from towering flutes to wine and shot glasses.
We tried: Rang Barse is a three-layered blend of kala jamun, mango and strawberry. Kahin Kisi Roz has the taste of strawberry, pineapple, rose and vanilla. Sagar Kinaare is a beach bum's drink; a mix of tadgola (fruit of a palm tree), litchi and tender coconut.
Fountain Dessert (Rs 150) takes 22 ingredients including ice cream, chocolate chips, gulkand and fresh fruits to make, so that you experience a different taste with every spoonful. Milan uses Kenyan Passion Fruit, Dragon Fruit from Malaysia and Blueberry from Canada.
also serve: They also serve sandwiches, pizzas and Faloodas. Ayi Bahaar (Rs 80) is a double grill sandwich stuffed with spinach, paneer, jalapeno, capsicum and cheese, decorated with coloured potato papads. Those of you watching your weight can ask them for a list of their sugar-free and zero calorie juices.
