Hisar: A 45-year-old woman and her son, sleeping outside home, were crushed to death by an SUV allegedly driven by their neighbour at Pehlwan Chowk in Hisar, police said on Friday.
Rani and her son Vivek (21) were sleeping outside their house last night when the car allegedly driven by their neighbour Jasdeep Sandhu ran over them, killing the duo on the spot, they said.
Wall and door of the victim's resident were also damaged in the incident, police said. The accused fled the spot after the incident leaving behind his vehicle, police said, adding he was arrested on Friday and the car was also impounded.
A case under various sections of the IPC has been registered against Sandhu and the bodies have been sent for post mortem, they said.
