Haryana would soon get 375 new anganwadi centres, for which administrative approval had been accorded, Women and Child Development Minister Kavita Jain said here today.
Jain said nearly Rs 9.95 lakh would be spent on each anganwadi centre. Of the total, Rs 5 lakh would come from MGNREGA funds and Rs 4.95 lakh from the department, which would be spent by the zila parishad.
The construction of anganwadi centres would be undertaken by the Panchayati Raj Department, she added.
