It seems Chevrolet is gaining popularity amongst Puneites as General Motors (India) has inaugurated its first dealer showroom Pashankar Autowheels Pvt. Ltd in the Pimpri Chindwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC).

The start of this showroom is a part of GM's effort to widen its network in the country. Also, GM India is in the process of appointing more dealers and setting up authorised service outlets in urban and semi-urban cities to support the increasing market demand for its products.

Karl Slym, MD and president of General Motors in India, sounded optimistic when he said, "This is our first showroom in PCMC and is a sign of our rapidly-expanding base of customers in this city."
He added that he is confident that under his leadership and guidance, Gautam Pashankar, who is at the helm of the dealership, Pashankar Autowheels will set the benchmark in sales, service and customer satisfaction.
GM India is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors Corporation with two state-of-the-art car manufacturing facilities at Halolu00a0 in Gujarat and Talegaon in Maharashtra.
