Four top employees of DNA Entertainment Networks, the company organising the cancelled Metallica concert in Gurgaon, were sent to six days' police custody after they were arrested early on Saturday on charges of cheating and breach of trust. The administration has also seized the Rs 1 crore security money deposited by the firm. Rajesh Kumar, the general manager of DNA Networks, along with team members Umesh Chinara, Ashok Singh and Savio Faleiro were arrested under Section 406 (breach of trust) and 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code. The concert, scheduled to take place at the Leisure Valley on Friday night, was initially postponed to Saturday. However on such short notice, the organisers were unable to procure permits for the show which was to accommodate 25,000 fans at the American band's first India performance. Organisers will issue notification regarding the process for full refunds to fans.
