Fire in Bangalore hotel; no casualties reported

A fire broke out on the fifth floor terrace of the Gold Towers office-cum-commercial complex here Monday. No casualties have been reported.

The fire erupted in a tin shed at 1.45 p.m. The hotel is located on the busy Residency Road. Four fire engines battled the flames.

In February, an inferno at the Carlton Towers claimed nine lives in the city.
