Officials who reviewed the building found that two key offices remained unscathed by the fire. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar visited the site yesterday morning and reviewed the operations. Pawar told reporters that the chief minister's office on the sixth floor was unscathed by the fire, while the fire had gutted surrounding offices. Fire brigade officer S V Joshi said the cooling operation would continue for the next two days.u00a0
Meanwhile, J J Hospital Dean, Dr T P Lahane confirmed that five bodies were brought to the hospital.
The bodies of Umesh Laximan Potekar (38), Mahesh Santosh Ghugale (44), and Shivaji Korande (42), were brought to the hospital on Thursday, while the bodies of Tukaram More and Mohan More were brought yesterday.
Of the three bodies found on Thursday, police said that Baramati residents Potekar, was the director of Baramati Co-Operative bank and Ghugale, was the vice president of Baramati Merchants Association, while Korande, was a resident of Akola district. u00a0
