A jute mill in Kolkata caught fire on Tuesday but there were no casualties, police said.
Smoke was seen billowing out of the Calcutta Jutel Mill on Narkeldanga Main road following which four fire tenders were pressed into service.
According to police, a short circuit caused the fire.
