Around 12 prisoners of Neemka jail in Faridabad were allegedly found to be in possession of mobile phones, police said on Sunday


Faridabad: Around 12 prisoners of Neemka jail in Faridabad were allegedly found to be in possession of mobile phones, police said on Sunday.

As per the complaint by the Superintendent of Neemka jail, mobile phones were found from 12 prisoners on Saturday they said.

An inquiry has been ordered, police said. In another incident, Rs 35,000 was allegedly stolen from an ATM at Tikona park here yesterday.

A case has been registered against unidentified men, following the complaint by Sector-22 resident Ashish, police said.

Efforts are on to nab the culprits, they added.
