In fresh trouble for actor Sanjay Dutt, the Samajwadi Party leader was on Saturday booked onu00a0 obscenity charges for allegedly saying that given a chance he will give jaadu ki jhappi to Chief Minister Mayawati during a poll rally in Pratapgarh.

"A case had been registered against Dutt for making derogatory remarks against Mayawati at KP Hindu College ground on April 16," a senior police officer told PTI.

During the rally, Dutt allegedly said that he "will give jaadu ki jhappi and pappi to the people of Pratapgarh", and he'll do the same with BSP supremo Mayawati".

The 49-year-old actor, who was last month barred by the Supreme Court from contesting polls over his conviction in the Mumbai blasts case, has also been slapped with a notice for violating the model code of conduct for derogatory remarks against a woman and asked to submit a reply within three days.

This is the second FIR against Dutt in less than a week's time. On April 14, a case was filed against him for allegedly making communal remarks at a rally in Mau district. He allegedly told that in police custody, he was given third degree torture because he was the son of a Muslim woman.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
