Former Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust (SSST) chairperson Jayant Sasane died today in Shrirampur following an illness, according to his family members.
He was 60. Sasane, who had represented Shrirampur in the Maharashtra Assembly on a Congress ticket, had also served as president of the Shrirampur Municipal Council.
He was the sitting president of the Ahmednagar district Congress.
