When the going gets hot, the hot get going to an ice lounge called 21 Fahrenheit. Modelled on the concept that's a rage in Dubai, this Andheri spot is a drinks and starters place where the atmosphere is chilled to -6 degrees centigrade or 21 degrees Fahrenheit. Guests are given double-quilted coats, gloves and special boots to wear over their out-to-lunch-or-dinner clothes before they enter this urban igloo.

"The coats are especiallyu00a0 comfy, and there is more standing room in the lounge since most guestsu00a0 prefer walking around when it is so cold, rather than sitting in a corner," says Aalok. Here, the tables, chairs, even the crockery is made of ice.

The lounge that can accomodate 45 guests serves bite-sized apppetisersu00a0 served on skewers so that you don't have to use your fingers. An entry charge of Rs 700 lets you in, with a complimentary drink to add. The restaurant also has a non-frozen section where Tepanyaki, Avadhi, Chinese, Thai and Japanese cuisine is served.
