for the next 44 days, the IPL will take over your life. Here's what's new and hot about the IPL this year.

On YouTube

Still stuck at work while your buddies are getting their fix of yet another Yuvraj Singh blitzkrieg? Fret not. This year, you don't have to sneak a peek at the flat screen in the boss's cabin. Following a landmark two-year deal with Google, IPL 2010 will be telecast live or with a delay, depending on your location, on a dedicated YouTube channel across the world, except for the USA. You can also pause, rewind, replay, and customise the camera angle to your liking. Match highlights, interviews, sixes of the match, pitch reports and more will also be available. And it's all free. Log on to www.youtube.com/IPL and get hooked.

In theatres
This IPL, watch a match at a movie theatre. Four hundred and twenty nine single-screen theatres and 191 multiplexes across the country will be broadcasting all 60 matches live. Plans are also afoot to have cheerleaders in the hall, celebrity visits and food stalls. Ticket prices have not been fixed. The deal comes as a blessing for theatre owners, who usually see lean periods in March and April with no big budget movie releases. On TV in the UK
You may be in Britain, but you will not miss out on any IPL action. Starting today, ITV4, one of the digital channels on the ITV network, will broadcast 59 of the 60 games live in the UK. ITV will use feed from India broadcaster Sony Max and will have its own studio experts who will host wraparound shows and analyse the live action. A special section will also be dedicated to the IPL on the ITV official website.

In the palm of your hand
Mobile match alerts, SMS, MMS and other services will now be provided to you exclusively by vRock Mobile Communications.
