New Delhi: A court here Saturday framed defamation charges against former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and three others in a case filed by former union minister Kapil Sibal's son Amit.

Metropolitan Magistrate Sunil Kumar Sharma framed the charges against Kejriwal, former Delhi minister Manish Sisodia, Aam Aadmi Party leader Prashant Bhushan and former AAP leader Shazia Ilmi.

The case was filed by Amit Sibal after Kejriwal, during a press conference in 2013, alleged conflict of interest over his appearing in the Supreme Court for telecom major Vodafone while his father was the union communication minister.

The court set Jan 17, 2015 for commencing the recording of statement of witness in the case after the four leaders pleaded not guilty.
