Ice Cream Fantasies: Ben & Jerry's, Baked Alaska and Mackies of Scotland Traditional |
Yes, I was as excited as you probably are and so I decided to do a reccie on your behalf. What I discovered was pure indulgence, and I did manage to grab a few spoonfuls as I made this list for youu2026 P.S. Stocks are limited, so you need to hurry!
What caught my attention first, was the extremely colourful jars of Ben & Jerry's, that were so delicious even when unpacked. I mean, delicious to look at and I do not imply that I eat cardboard packing material. The jars were available in the 473 ml tub and were all priced at Rs 650. The flavours I noticed and could recall were half-baked Alaska, chocolate macadamia, Dublin mudslide, caramel chew chew, cherry garcia and pistachio pistachio. I also noticed two jars of frozen yoghurt dessert in two yummy avatars -- phish food and chocolate fudge brownie -- Yippie! The freezer also stocked another much-loved brand, Mackies of Scotland in two sized tubs. The mini tubs of 180 ml each were priced at Rs 80 and were available in traditional, honeycomb, chocolate and strawberry flavours. The larger tubs were of the 1 litre variety, priced at Rs 375 and featured traditional, chocolate mint ale, honeycomb, strawberry and cream and raspberry flavours. What also caught my attention were the 500 ml packs of Mackies Dairy sorbet in two varieties -- strawberry & raspberry and orange & passion fruit, priced at Rs 225. The third brand I spotted was London Dairy, in two avatars; it's 1 litre and 500 ml pack priced at Rs 575 and Rs 275 respectively. Check out their tiramisu, vanilla, cookie and cream, pralines and cream, caramel crunch, strawberry cheesecake and double chocolate flavours and their smaller bars in peanut surprise and almond varieties priced at Rs 50 and 80 respectively. The collection of imported ice creams also features quite a few chocolate bar favourites from Cadburys and Nestle in their ice cream avatars. Priced individually Rs 75 to Rs 150 per bar, they also stock saver packs of 3, 4 and 5 pieces each. The cutest addition was however the Nestle smarties cones and the party ice cream packs, priced between Rs 300 and 600. If that doesn't appease your unique tastes then check out their dessert options with the cheesecake, gateaux and brownie varieties. The different brands available are priced between Rs 300 and Rs 600 and are available in packs of 3, 4 and 5.
