A clerk of a reputed college has accused his principal for forging his signature to stop salary dues to him.u00a0S Venkatesh, a second division assistant at the Mount Carmel College, has filed a forgery and cheating complaint at the High Grounds police station against the principal and secretary.

Venkatesh has alleged that Sister Albina, the principal, dismissed him from service in 2004 on the allegations of misusing the staff PF funds.

Opposing the decision, Venkstesh approached Appellate tribunal for education, which setting aside the dismissal, directed the management to reinstate the post and pay 50 per cent of due wages due to him. As per the directions, the management reinstated and paid the wages.

However Venktesh wanted the remaining 50 per cent of wages, for which he approached the High Court filing a Writ Petition. The management, which filed its response before the HC in the form of Venkatesh's undertaking, which states that he cannot claim the amount, pertaining to disputed period from the date of his dismissal.

Venkatesh added that the undertaking submitted by the principal and the secretary of the college is not only fabricated but his signature has also been forged. When MiD DAY tried to contact the principal, she refused to speak about the issue stating she know nothing. The High Grounds police have taken up case and are investigating to ascertain whether the letter and signature are genuine.
