The Central Crime Branch sleuth busted an international drug racket and arrested a 27-year-old who was trying to sell LSD and MDA worth nearly Rs 13 lakh.



The accused, Mohammed Haneef, a resident of Indira Nagar was nabbed with the contraband while he was waiting for some clients near Stone Pub.

Haneef used to sell LSD in the form of blotter paper for Rs 400 each and MDA in capsules for Rs 1,500 each, the police said.

They recovered 68 grams of LSD in blotting paper form worth Rs 1.5 lakh, 60 MDA capsules worth Rs 90,000 and 102 grams of MDA powder worth Rs 10.2 lakh. Two mobile phones, Rs 15,100 in cash and an ATM card were also recovered from Haneef.

During detailed interrogation, Haneef confessed to being part of an international drug racket and to getting consignments from his contact, identified as Peter, from Goa.

"Peter received consignments from Netherlands through a courier and and passed it on to Haneef," assistant commissioner of policeu00a0S V Guled said.
