On Tuesday, Dr K Baheti, Dr Manoj Deshmukh and Dr Satish Kulkarni at Lilavati Hospital used the Coeliac Plexus Block procedure, usually used for patients with cancer of abdominal organs, to relieve Ami Shah-Hackman from pain caused by bowel obstructions.
