Cancer treatment centre for women to be run by all-woman team of docs, attendants
A city oncology centre is giving women a unique gift on the occasion of Women's Day. It will be an all women affair as only women doctors and administrators will operate an entire floor.They will treat female cancer patients and help them fight the disease through various means.

Today HealthCare Global (HCG), a group of hospitals dedicated to cancer cure, inaugurates the Centre for Women's Health to treat female patients suffering from cancer.
Total wellness
"This is an initiative by women oncologists of the city for a holistic cancer cure," said Dr Niti Raizada, counsellor, Medical Oncology.
Along with treatment and diagnostics, the centre will provide counselling sessions to patients and their families.
Regular discussions and programs on lifestyle, yoga and eating habits will also be held.
Doc, your friend
"The centre is managed by women and dedicated to cancer. The aim is not only to spread awareness, but also provide solutions on how to prevent cancer," said Dr Ajai Kumar, Chairman, HCG.
Priyanka Upendra, the Kannada actress of H20 and Mall movies fame will grace the occasion as chief guest. "It is a good initiative specially on this day," said Priyanka. "A doctor should be a friend. It will be easier for a woman to approach another woman.
